Junior Project Manager - Exeter

ReStart is the UK’s leading healthcare integration company based in Exeter, Devon. We excel in the field of delivering Integration Services projects to NHS clients and working with other health partners and suppliers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and organised Junior IT Project Manager who is dynamic and who enjoys working in a complex, fast moving, and challenging environment, to be based in our Exeter offices. Flexibility and adaptability are key and proactively prioritising your workload with minimal direction is a crucial skill.

The Junior Project Manager will report to the Head of Integration Services and Support and assist in managing project delivery and work as a point of contact for our consultants, partners and internal teams on select projects.

Any experience you have of working with NHS projects or partners is a bonus. The post holder will work to ensure our NHS customers’ projects are within scope, budget and deadline, and to ensure communication is consistent across all parties.

This can be a fast-paced environment so the ability to multi-task and think ahead to ensure that project parameters are within given timeframes is crucial. This will be a very busy and varied role, assisting and working with all members of our team and with our clients

The Person

You will be a robust Project Manager looking for their next step up, and one who enjoys delivering customer facing projects and thrives on meeting and overcoming challenges.

You must be confident communicating with professionals at all levels as you are required to balance contractual and project deadlines. You will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to thrive whilst working under pressure.

You will:

  • Support the delivery of bespoke integration projects, working with NHS customers / partners and internal teams to defined project scope and deliverables
  • Drive project profitability
  • Ensure consistent communication with customers, partners and internal teams
  • Be able to represent the company’s interests to our clients
  • Ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution

Essentials Skills

  • Knowledge of project management using recognised project methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at various stages in their lifecycle
  • Technical background, with experience in managing projects within the IT sector
  • Excellent customer facing management and communication skills in email, calls and in person
  • Flexible working hours when required, to align with our customers projects
  • Experience delivering IT projects of varying complexity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to promote efficiency and support to the internal development team
